    Light Rail construction has begun near our main office

    The new Central Corridor Light Rail will affect traffic near our office for the next few years.Construction has begun on University Avenue to the east of our location and on parts of the University of Minnesota campus to our west. University Avenue will remain open during the construction, however there will be lane restrictions and you can expect traffic snarls.

    The Minnesota Teamsters Service Bureau is a primary partner of Minnesota Job Partners which provides Dislocated Worker services for companies facing mass layoffs. These services are provided through state grants.

     


     

    Dislocated Worker Program

    Services for eligible dislocated workers:

    • Career counseling
    • Resume assistance
    • Job search preparation workshops
    • Financial assistance for training programs (tuition, books and fees)
    • On-the-job training (OJT) assistance
    • Career assessment
    • Financial assistance for emergencies
    • Relocation assistance
    • Resource room with computers and high-speed internet access for job search
