WELCOME FORMER MACY'S EMPLOYEES

We want to extend a warm welcome to those impacted by the layoffs at Macy's. A committee of your peers selected the Minnesota Teamsters Service Bureau as your provider for Dislocated Worker Program services. This program provides free services to get you back to work quickly, including career counseling, job search workshops, résumé development, funding for training, financial support, and more.

The first step is attending a registration session, the second step is completing a Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) if you have less than a Bachelor's Degree, and the third and final step is meeting with your counselor to create your Individual Employment Plan. Once you've completed these steps and submitted all required documentation, you are enrolled and can begin taking advantage of all program benefits.

REGISTRATION SESSIONS

We have planned registration sessions for your group at on. Please REGISTER HERE to let us know you plan to attend.

Please bring the following documents to your registration session:

Driver's License or other State-issued Photo Identification card

​

AND

​

Social Security card or W2

​

If you don't have these items in time for your registration session, don't worry. You can bring them when you meet with your counselor!

SUCCESS BY THE NUMBERS

  • Successful Exit Rate: 85%

  • Participants earned 99.2% of their previous wage at exit

  • 769 individuals have earned at least one credential, with 277 additional credentials still in progress

  • In the past 5 years we have helped 320 individuals access TAA benefits
